The Valley Players will present the comedy "Same Time, Next Year" by Bernard Slade, January 16-18 and 23-25  at the Valley Players Theater on Rt. 100 in Waitsfield village.

The play features Josh Krushenick (Warren) and Linda Iannuzzi (Waitsfield) as two people who start out having a one night stand in the 1950's only to find their relationship developing over twenty-five years, as they rendezvous at the same California inn on the same weekend each year.

The show is directed by Andra Kisler (Northfield) with set design by Laura Pratt (Northfield), and produced by Ruth Ann Pattee (Waitsfield).

Linda Iannuzi has most recently been seen on the Valley Players stage in August, 2008, in the Players' first ten minute play festival, as Claire in "The Kindling Effect", also with Josh Krushenick. Previously she played Frankie in the Players' production of "Dearly Beloved" in 2006. Past performances before her move to Vermont included Kate Keller in "The Miracle Worker", Mrs. Web in "Our Town", and Mrs. Van Daan in "The Diary of Anne Frank".

Josh Krushenick has been involved with the Valley Players for over a decade. He has played roles ranging from a flying monkey in the "Wizard of Oz" to a homicidal lover in "Death Trap". Other productions include "Murder at The Howard Johnson's",  "The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940", "Terror By Gaslight", and most recently parts in the Players' ten minute play festival, "Love The Human Comedy".Show times are 7:30 pm January 16-18 and 23-24, and 2 pm on Sunday, January 25.
